The low-dispersion lenses, called ED, have long been considered an appreciated evolution in the world of optics. Given the reduction of chromatic aberrations, this ED treatment allows observations “cleaner” optically, and much more pleasant. Although there may be differences in quality of an ED treatment and another, the technical specifications and mechanical properties of this series have been dictated and specifically wanted to get an instrument whose characteristics of quality general could satisfy even the most experienced observers.
